Hi, I’m Marie, I’m the person behind The Body Whisperer.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: the body holds wisdom, and when we slow down enough to listen, it can guide us back toward balance, calm and healing.
My StoRy
My journey into bodywork, movement and nervous system practices has been shaped not only by study, but by life itself. I grew up in an environment where stress and trauma were present from an early age. For a long time, my body carried that story through tension, anxiety and overwhelm.
Movement and body-based practices became the place where I began to reconnect with myself. Through massage, yoga, breathwork and somatic awareness, I discovered that healing doesn’t always come from pushing harder. Often it comes from learning how to feel safe in your own body again. That experience is what led me to this work.
Today I blend therapeutic massage, gentle movement, breathwork and nervous system regulation techniques to help people slow down, release tension and reconnect with their bodies. Alongside running my practice, I am currently studying an HND in Applied Sport and Exercise Science with the long-term aim of progressing further into physiotherapy and therapeutic movement. I’m passionate about bridging science-based knowledge with compassionate, body-led healing approaches.
My sessions and classes are designed to be accessible, supportive and completely free from pressure or performance. Whether you come for massage, yoga or somatic movement, my goal is always the same: to create a safe space where your body can soften, release and reset. Because sometimes the most powerful healing happens when we simply learn to listen.
